Great Smoky Mountain Moss is pleased to offer fresh floral quality sheet moss from the mountain forests of western North Carolina. This moss is carefully hand selected, cleaned and then naturally air dried. Mosses are then locally boxed by hand and supplied directly to you, our customer. Our mosses are processed using no pesticides, chemicals, dyes, or irradiation so there are no worries with using them around children and pets.

Our sheet mosses are available in three grades: standard, premium, and Emerald. Our standard grade consists of mixed species “rock” mosses in various sized pieces. Our premium grade consists of mixed species of “log” mosses. Generally speaking, our premium sheet moss has a deeper and more uniform color, thicker backing, with pieces averaging larger than those in our standard grade.

Our Emerald sheet moss is a very select moss. Due to the fact that this moss grows in only a few special places and on certain types of logs, availability can be limited. This moss is highly sought due to its thick natural backing, velvety texture and shimmering emerald green color.
